Today, we're getting up close and personal with a house we'd like to call the Elysian. The Elysian, in Greek mythology, is said to be a paradise of eternal happiness, much like this three-storey premium residential home designed by WCY Architects. Let's check out the pieces that made this home the epitome of Practical Luxury.

The Foyer

As you set foot into the main entrance, you'll instantly notice the sleek Kawajun door handles, the window treatment by PNG & the ivory colored Porcelanosa wall tiles & floors. The custom-made Ellen-Framed mirror will give you an immediate view of the space that lie ahead. It’s decorated with a low down console from Caracole, matched with a pair of Emery Armchairs from Restoration Hardware. As for the finishing touch, the customized Keystone lamps were the key details that gave this area the classic hotel lobby feel.

Living Area

Suspended from a high ceiling is the marvelous chandelier by Vito Selma, a real showstopper as you go further into the living area. Its circular shape is continuous throughout the space with the Round Marble Tables & Italian Swivel Chairs trimming the sides of the Upholstered Parisian Arm sofas, all from Restoration Hardware. The continuity of the Porcelanosa walls was culminated by the solid colored LG Interior Film tailored to accommodate heavy traffic with its moisture resistance & durability. The space was evenly defined by the custom made rug from Studio Soliven & it's bounded by the Dexterton Classic Console Caracole.

The Formal Dining & Kitchen

Heading over to the Formal Dining, the Cattelan Italia table may be the first thing to catch your eye. It’s the perfect choice for our client’s big family, paired with the cushioned seats from Restoration Hardware. Its classic, genuine marble surface instantly transports you to fine dining with the Space 2000 shelves serving as ledges & as your clean-cut backdrop.

This dining area is always ready for a delicious feast with the Caracole Uptown Buffet Console. You can even enjoy viewing a movie or the daily news as the Samsung TV frame draw your attention to where the screen is. Again, Vito Selma makes his presence known with a uniquely shaped & layered chandelier that can set the mood with its ambient lighting.

Now, let’s hurry over to where the food is cookin’.

The spacious island & kitchen counter is a proud work from Scavolini made of Calacatta Gold Quartz Silestone. Hovering it is the overhead shelves customized with built in lights to make it more functional. You will also notice the custom made Keystone Chandelier at the Casual Dining Area. It's comprised with chairs from Cattelan Italia & the Lazy Susan Dining Table from Urban Italia.

The Pool House

After a dip in the pool, you can grab a drink from the Scavolini Pantry Set & chill out in the HAY AAS38 Bar stools from Designstory. Complementing the cool interior of this area is the Nicholas round coffee table from Restoration Hardware & the Kettal Bitta Club Armchair & Sofa.

Are you starting to fee like it's summer all over again?

Stay consistently entertained in this pool house with the television set outlined with a Samsung TV frame. Plus, a beautiful view of the outdoors which you can always opt to have with the convenient window treatment from PNG.

The Entertainment Room

The entertainment room is accessible from the foyer & the living area. It’s furnished with Clarity acoustic panelling from Skycon & a home theatre sound system from B&W Home. Anyone can sit back & relax for hours in the sofa paired with the center cushion table, both from More than A Chair.

This room is a true delight to the senses with your feet warmed by the custom made rug from Studio Soliven & with an entertainment system housed by the functional Scavolini Modular TV cabinet. The windows for this space is once again designed with a treatment from PNG.

The Master’s Bedroom

Now, we’ll be entering one of the most anticipated rooms in The Elysian; the master’s bedroom. Its design will easily draw your eyes towards the bed with the customized frame from JB Woodcraft & headboard from PNG. Team Hurray placed side tables from Bernhardt to set this area with more usability. At its foot stands another custom made piece which is a bench by More Than a Chair. The bed's space is defined by a customized area rug from Studio Soliven.

For a cohesive look, we blended the shades of the Scavolini console, shelves, & work desks with the neutral wallpaper from Studio 11. To utilize the room's spaciousness, Team Hurray installed a sliding door from Rimadesio for the walk-in closet.

The Mancave & its Balcony

It’s downtime with the big boys at this Mancave. Its wood flooring gives off a rustic yet classy finish brought by Eurobel rugs along with the Triboa Bay console table.

It also has a complete poker station care of JB Woodcraft. Its coziness might give you away so you better put on your best bluff! To double the indulgence, you can relax in the 3-seater Lazyboy & let the Scavolini Entertainment Module do the rest. The Hiro Massage Chair is also present for your utmost relaxation while you pick your poison from the OSM Bar Cart.

Seeking for a breath of fresh air? Head over to the balcony. This space was curated with natural greens & with outside furniture from HAY's Palissade collection designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec.

The Kids’ Study Area

The kids’ study area was designed with fun & young shades matching the Muuto Ambit drop lights from Kuysen. It’s separated into two equal work spaces defined by glass boards from Pacific Glass & study desks from Moderno. The overhead & storage cabinets from Moderno are purposeful pieces that help tidy up & organize the space. JB Woodcraft's low table & PNG's floor cushions are the central elements of the room that will bring the siblings to play & bond together.
