As today we share our favorite holiday ornaments from our creative team of designers, including Hurray’s Principal Designer, IDr. Rossy Rojales, PIID, for your last minute holiday decorating!

Christmas Stockings

as chosen by IDr. Ina Esquivel, PIID, Business Development Associate

Traditionally used to decorate walls, Ina and her family share their love for the holidays by unconventionally using stockings for utensils during their Christmas dinners! She shares, “It’s like mini stockings for your knives and stuff!”

Flare Candleholders by HAY

as chosen by IDr. Rossy Rojales, PIID, Principal Designer

Crafted out of colored, mouth-blown glass, these Flare Candleholders from HAY can dress up any table whether contrasted, tonal-tinted edged, or in a spiralled pattern. Use it for table setting as part of your Holiday centerpiece!

Christmas Wreath

as chosen by Liz Licaroz, Design Associate, and IDr. Rossy, Principal Designer

For her favorite Christmas décor, Liz chose the Edeline Wreath from Fig & Vine. This wreath can be placed on any door or or wall to make your home feel like Christmas. Not only does a wreath look great, but having the smell of real pine leaves adds a refreshing touch to your space!

While IDr. Rossy chose this wreath from @akongugma for a rustic, homely touch!

Christmas Vinyl Records

as chosen by IDr. Rossy Rojales, PIID, Principal Designer

Aside from playing them over a game of Monopoly with a cup of hot cocoa in hand (I know you’re dreaming it!), you can also use your Vinyl records as décor for a lived-in space. Display your favorites for easy access during family lunches and dinners!

Capiz Lantern Series

as chosen by Jholie Palad, Design Officer

When she is not working on Hurray’s technical designs or overseeing projects, Jholie designs Capiz lighting on her downtime which you can find at @capiz_decor. Passionate about lighting, Jholie sees its impact on spaces. She shares, “These kind of light, especially the warm tones mixed with the Filipino native Capiz design, will immediately give you a familiar feeling of being at home, which you can achieve by hanging it outdoors or using it as a Christmas balls!”

Capiz Christmas Parol

as chosen by IDr. Rossy Rojales, PIID, Principal Designer

Continuing the trend of Capiz décor, IDr. Rossy chose this traditional Christmas staple which is influenced by her living in Pampanga, the Parol Capital of the Philippines, as a child.

She specifically recommends this Capiz Parol from Caro Wilson’s Shop, a premium handmade store from Baguio. She shares, “For me, hanging our Parol outside our home has become a symbolic part of our Filipino Home. It brings in an elegant classic Filipino element into a home, not just for your space but also for the community.”

As for condo living, she suggests to incorporate it into your interiors. She continues, “I usually hang it on my living room window.”
