SKYCON has been in the business of supplying architectural finishing and interior fit-out materials since 1997. We represent several manufacturers from around the world and cover a broad spectrum of surfacing materials for ceilings, walls and floors.
Our current product portfolio consists of 14 unique but complementary brands. Each brand has been chosen through a long process of due diligence and market research to ensure that the products not only suit the Philippine market but meet SKYCON’s own mission of providing solutions that help create spaces that are safer, more durable, acoustically comfortable and fit-for-purpose.
All our products are engineered to provide multiple benefits beyond the initial “nice to look at” phase. We want to be able to deliver products that will continue providing those benefits for many years to come. The best way to look at it is in terms of value. We want to be able to provide tangible value to our customers through our products; such value can be derived whether the product costs Php 100 per square meter or Php 100,000 per square meter.
We like to say that we are a solutions provider more than a supplier of products. We are happiest when our clients engage with us to help them solve design problems – whether that leads to a sale or not. We believe that if clients trust us with their problems, then we have been successful in nurturing a relationship with them that we will protect at all cost. These relationships start and end with the type of service that is honest and unassuming and one that is able to anticipate potential issues so that the customer experience is delightful and seamless. There’s very little we won’t do to keep such relationships.
Acoustic comfort is an aspect often overlooked when it comes to home and workplace design. Our ears are often relegated to a minor acting role in matters of interior design. However, poor acoustics greatly impacts the productivity of a space – be it the ability to have collaborative meetings in your office, to concentrate and be productive within your private workstation and to fully unwind in your own home. Creating a space fit-for-purpose demands taking a close look into interior acoustics. It demands a designer who designs not just for the eyes but for the ears as well.
