Now that a sense of normalcy is slowly returning to the country, it’s time to revisit the Foyer. Also known as a lobby, corridor, or waiting room, the word ‘foyer’ has become interchangeable with entryways, entrance halls, and hallways with time. It’s purpose remains, a space used to properly welcome visitors or guests of the home.

Today, we talk to Hurray’s Design Lead, France Alarilla, to share some tips on how to refresh your foyer and warmly welcome your guests back into your home!

A Bright Idea

Beyond illumination, floor lamps can also be treated as a statement or an art piece. This could be in a form of an oversized lamp or a unique figured lamp. A bold pendant or sconce also can make a good first impression in the whole house.

Hooked

Hooks can also act as a decorative and unique accent to your foyer. With its function, you can incorporate interesting wall hooks for coats, hats and bags.

A Trusted Arrangement

A quick refresh, fresh plants or flowers will surely brighten up your Foyer! Even a piece of faux greenery will breathe life into the space!

If you have a good console with length, jars, vases, and candles with styled heights can give out an eye catching proportion to the area.

Beautifully Neat

Accent key trays or bowls are wonderful accent pieces for a foyer console table. It may be in wood or metal material, either way, it is a useful item for anyone who goes in and out of the house!

Remember, decors always depend on the size of your foyer. So, don’t forget your trustee measuring tape to keep things proportioned!
